China-US Medical Informatics Forum 2018

Health informatics is one of the most important interdisciplinary research fields of life science and medicine. It has attracted increasing attentions from both academia and industry. To that end, the purpose of 2018 Sino-US Conference on Health Informatics & 2018 OHDSI China Annual Symposium is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in the health informatics, health information technologies to healthcare and medicine in general.

The 2018 Sino-US Conference on Health Informatics & 2018 OHDSI China Annual Symposium will be held by Sun Yat-Sen University from June 28 to July 1, 2018 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China. You are invited to submit abstracts with unpublished original work describing recent advances in research on all aspects of health informatics, including but not limited to the following:

· Health data analytics and clinical informatics

· Health information exchange, interoperability and data integration

· Improving quality and safety through health IT

· Human factors, user experience and design

· Precision medicine/genomics

· Social, psychosocial and behavioral determinants of health and connected health

· Artifical intelligence for medical applications 

Paper Submission:

All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Selected abstracts of the registered authors will be invited to submit a full-length manuscript to special issues of SCI-indexed journals. The acceptance of the special issues will be based on quality, relevance and originality.

Abstract template:

All submissions must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc) file. The Abstract is limited to two A4 pages (up to 1000 words) including Abstract,  Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, References, and Address for correspondence.
